Hartford HealthCare has a new logo that visually links all of Hartford HealthCare’s members, including Hartford Hospital. It symbolizes our shared vision and commitment.
| "Today, an individual’s experience within the health care world is too often fragmented and disconnected," says Elliot Joseph, President and CEO of Hartford HealthCare. "Patients are often left on their own to find care. Hartford HealthCare is focused on establishing a coordinated continuum of high quality care, creating life-long relationships with our patients, and leading the charge to deliver the future of health care to all of our patients." |
Hartford HealthCare unveiled a new logo at Hartford's XL Center during the Women’s Big East Tournament, March 4-6, 2011. Soon, this logo will appear throughout Connecticut. The new look visually links all of Hartford HealthCare’s entities, including Hartford Hospital, as all now share a common look and feel.
“The move is indicative of so much more than a new logo,” says Hartford Hospital and Hartford HealthCare Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer James Blazar. “This is about improving our regional health care from the inside out. Hartford HealthCare is about defying the broken realities of today, and creating a health system that is connecting with purpose. By combining resources, Hartford HealthCare will strengthen the level of care available to the communities we serve, making high quality health care more accessible to everyone— from prevention to the first diagnosis through disease treatment.”
Together, the entities that comprise Hartford HealthCare can provide better care than any one can provide alone— including hospitals, medical offices, rehabilitation services, behavioral services, clinical laboratories and home health services. A system of care that’s organized around patients gives patients easy, coordinated access to the right care in the right place at the most affordable cost
