General Description
The Simulation Center at Hartford Hospital provides:
A State of the Art teaching environment
Hands on application of skills needed to solve clinical problems effectively
Assessment of clinical competency
Ability to present clinical scenarios in a wide range of complexities
Immediate feedback regarding decision and actions
The Simulation Center at Hartford Hospital allows:
The participant to gain experience recognizing problems
Development of decision-making skills
The participant to experience high acuity, low frequency clinical events in a realistic environment
The opportunity to familiarize the student with equipment and resources
Refinement of techniques and procedures
Experience and exposure to frequent and rare medical cases
