The Department of Dentistry at
Hartford
Hospital
is one of the seventeen clinical departments. The department is comprised of two sections: General Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Each section offers a residency program (see
Dental Residency Program
).
The department brings together veteran dentists and oral surgeons with highly-qualified dental residents and auxiliary staff, including two dental hygienists, six dental assistants and three receptions. The clinic features state-of-the-art equipment and dental materials. It offers general dentistry, as well as orthodontics, implants and oral surgery.
