Dr. Lovejoy received his doctorate in clinical psychology through the Virginia Consortium (College of William and Mary, Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old Dominion University).
He completed an internship in clinical psychology at Yale University School of Medicine and his Postdoctoral Fellowship was completed in Neuropsychology at Hartford Hospital and The University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Dr. Lovejoy is Associate Director of the Hartford Hospital Head Injury Program, within the Department of Neurosurgery and is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Traumatology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Dr. Lovejoy's research and clinical interests include areas such as Traumatic Brain Injury and concussion, Adult ADHD, Learning Disabilities and both criminal and civil forensic neuropsychological assessment.
Dr. Lovejoy has also served as an expert witness in neuropsychology in both state and federal courts.
Dr. Lovejoy treats patients throughout the lifespan.
